"Final Approval" from Emirates &Anniversary weekend.

--(Fri) 8MAY - I have received an email from Emirates said; …..I haven't uploaded any documents yet, (It was 30days left for Day of joining) and they were being concerned if I would have enough time to request of resignation from current employer***. They needed to know if I am still able to join them in Dubai on 7 June as I made myself committed in the contract. They needed to finalized the list of crew who would come that day…. So I replied that I would complete upload all document on next monday and will email them to alert again.

***(General, you need to tell your employer the resignation in advanced for 30days. And Emirates policy, they suggested you, NOT to do any action till you will complete ALL of requirement Medical check. Then Emirates will advise you to request the resignation from your current employer.)












--(Mon) 10MAY - I made all scan of all documents and sent it to Emirates. I was nervous because it means soon I would be finalized, It was getting the confirmation of truth. Also I sent a an alert email to them that I completed all of medical document. Hopefully that It would make thing faster….

--(Tue) 11MAY - I received the reply from Emirates straight away!!! Unfortunate, there was little problems :
[1] one report from doctor. He didn't put the actual date in the X-ray report, and the doctor's stamp on that report was not seen well. Because the stamp was quite light, and bad quality of Scanner.
[2] The blood test report didn't contain the date!! aggrrhh~! It actually did contain the date, but it was in the first page of the whole set of the test report.

Today, I could go only the lab of blood test and asked them to reprint with "date" in all pages. However, I had to wait till thursday to meet a doctor as he didn't make any visit today and also because I got the final exam of my Spanish course tomorrow!!
--(Wed) 12MAY - I went to Barcelona for the last time, for my Final exam…. It went pretty well. Not bad. And after the exam, some classmates and me, we went for aperitif. Among of my classmates we agreed to have Farewell dinner on Friday in Barcelona, which means If i go, I need to find a place to stay over in Barcelona. Aron, Taiwanese friend offered me his apartment to stay. But it was not the point, going to Barcelona costs me somehow. So I was not sure If I wanted or not. After aperitif, I went with Masako for Japanese lunch…. 〜おいしかったです。


--(Thu) 13MAY - I went to see a doctor in the morning, asked him to make another report as Emirates has requested. It took only 5mins to be done. After, I went to make a scan of those document at Raul office. I was so happy that everything done!! I would send the missing documents today to Emirates and tomorrow I would get the Final approval for sure!!
. .. .. .. .. . . .. . .On the way back from Raul's office, to have a breakfast in cafe. I received a phone call from my aunt who live with my mom, Pa Ki. She told me that my mum has been in the hospital since Tuesday because she can't walk, and apparently she will need a surgery!! I was in shocked!!…… I asked my aunt that I'll call her back through Skype later once I get home later, as she used a mobile to call me. So at that moment, I didn't get enough information what was actually happening. During I had a breakfast, my mind started to get crazy. I even thought about dates back to Thailand to visit my mom.
After breakfast, I got home. Instead calling my aunt, I called KIK first, talked to her about something else, Blackberry phone and iphone. I really needed to be distracted by something else first then I would be able to think and see the problem better. After I called KIK, I called my aunt to continue the conversation. My aunt said; there is nothing serious and nothing to be worried and It doesn't scary as it sounds. What a relief !! ….. However, still worried.
……….……After all relief, I resent the document to Emirates again. I didn't think I would be replied by tomorrow as Fri.-Sat. they don't work in Dubai.
……………And eventually I decided not to go for Farewell dinner with my classmate in Barcelona. Because Raul came up with a Surprise weekend for our anniversary, in Siurana.

--(Fri) 14MAY - Nothing much to say for today, I only talked to my auntie, my mum, to cheer her up. And arranging something, and discussed what was happening in Thailand. And packed a bag to get ready for "Siurana". We left home for Siurana about 1830….

--(Sun) 16MAY - Still in Siurana/ I got a feeling in the morning that I would get the reply from Emirates. I used my laptop through wifi access in the hotel to check. "YES!!!!" - the "FINAL" was approved! I also received some documents from Emirates, to be prepared. ~~~Yeyyyy!
-It has been 4weeks total after I got the result of Final interview to get the 'final approval'. Now I had to plan when would I open that Cava bottle for the Celebration.
